R Family

It felt like just yesterday we were taking photos of this little peanut soon after he was adopted by the R family....and I can't believe it has been a year already! This little guy is now one year old, and he loves music (even dances and claps to his favorite songs!). I've loved seeing this family grow over the years!

O Family

What a beautiful day for photos this Sunday! We had quite the group for extended family photos this weekend, but everyone did awesome during their 1.5 hour session! Everyone gave great smiles and stuck with me til the very end! So fun to meet so many new families this week!

Emma and Alex Engagement

Absolutely loved photographing this couple! First, it was super hot outside...like almost 100 so they stuck with me like troopers! These two are one of my 2017 wedding couples that are ready to start planning for their big day! I had a blast getting to know them this weekend, and I can't wait to celebrate with them next year!

Stacey & Pete Wedding

These two have been wedding planning with me for about a year, and we were thrilled the big day finally arrived! This past weekend we celebrated with their friends and family out in Bennington, everyone was so excited for the two to finally get hitched! Thanks for a great schedule, we had the time to pop over to Standing Bear Lake for even more bridal photos, which I was just thrilled they were up for walking around in the trees for some extra great shots!

K Family

This amazing couple is expecting a baby this Spring! These two decided not to find out the gender of their newborn, and you can tell they are just thrilled to be expecting! I found out these two were just married last year, so they were fresh from wedding photos are ready to be photographed (they laughed when they told me this is their honeymoon baby!) So much fun, and can't wait to see their little one grow up!

Kayla Senior 2016

What a great day for photos! Who would have guessed it would be such a nice day in November! Kayla and I had a great day at the lake, such a photogenic young lady! She is a swimmer, and is looking forward to choosing a college shortly! Good luck next year Kayla!

The S Family

You may not be able to tell from this picture...but it was cold this weekend! We decided to brave the 25 degree weather Saturday morning and we had a fantastic Holiday themed mini session with the S family! These kids were such troopers, and we had a blast in the wagon playing with Christmas bulbs!

Enzo

Enzo is here and ready to play! His family contacted me about scheduling a mini session a few months before his 3rd birthday, so we could get some great pictures of him playing at the park (rather than just in the snow and cold!) We had a great session running around and watching the boats on the water! What a fun kid, I love watching him grow up over the years!

T & B

These two love birds will be one of my 2016 weddings! We had so much fun getting to know one another during their engagement session! It was hot...like sticky humid hot....and I probably ended up with 20+ bug bites by the end (I have a feeling they ended up with more) but we all agree it was worth it! We had a beautiful sunset session at the park, perfect lighting, sweet couple...just a perfect session!

The H Family

It's my favorite time of year, which means snowy winter photos! The H family planned a session with me between Christmas and New Years, because who has the time to do family photos before Christmas! They were such a great group, and I know everyone was so glad to have their oldest home from college! We had a great sunrise session, and the colors were beautiful!

Maternity

It was a beautiful morning for a maternity photo session! This sweet little girl was excited to have a new baby brother very soon! Also she is going to grow up to a photographer some day!!! She kept asking to see the camera, to take pictures, and later informed me she would be getting her own camera for her birthday! How sweet! Congratulations to this beautiful family!

J & E- 1 Year

Congratulations to J & E who celebrated their first year anniversary last week. We went out early saturday morning to catch the sunrise in the photos. Unfortunately the clouds prevented much of a glow, but that didn't stop us from continuing with our photo session!

L Family Gender Reveal

This family is just wonderful! Today they picked an extra special way to announce the newest member of their family, a little boy!!! They had their son read the doctors note, and surprise his parents by painting them the color of the gender of their new baby! I can't wait to see their family grow even more this fall!

My Parents

This month my parents asked me to take photos of them for a Christmas gift. Let me just say, we've never really done photos together before and I enjoyed how surprised they were that I was so "professional".

Of course I love my parents, and I love how funny they are. In my opinion, the more you know people the better the session is. You can really capture who they really are. I love getting to know my clients as we take photos, as I think it really enhances the overall product.

So these are my wonderful parents! My dad is also into photography, and helped me when I first started photography (I started on film only, and loved it. If you've developed your own photos, you'll never forget that wonderful smell of a darkroom). My dad also taught me to be a business woman, and gave me my first (and second) photoshop program. My mom is creative and artsy and always encouraged me to think outside the box and craft all the time! They helped me buy my very first digital camera back in elementary school, a little canon point and shoot.

The K Family

I'm always impressed by clients who really put a lot of thought into what they will wear, and the K family is one of them! I love that they went with these colors, as it was so bright and cheerful. This was such a wonderful family. It was a little chilly out, but they were troopers! This little girl is going to be a big sister soon! Even if she wanted a little sister, I told her speaking from a little sister perspective, that she will be glad she is getting a brother so she doesn't have to share clothes!

The C Family

Christmas card photos anyone?! These girls were just too precious! I love to see sisters so close in age, as it reminds me of my sister and me growing up. These girls were too cute, and they came all the way from Lincoln just to see me :) Well...and the grandparents.
This family was just picture perfect, and full of giggles.

L Family

The L Family was so much fun to meet! Two of these girls had my mother as an elementary school teacher, and I'd heard so much about them! I was taken aback when the middle child hopped out of the car and announced "You look just like your mother". (just what every girl wants to hear!) But I didn't hold that against her. They were full of energy, and did such a wonderful job with their little sister, even when she was ready for a nap.
Just gorgeous!
